Small business owners and managers
Your small business's internal tools, built by you and ready for production.
Request tracking, scheduling, a client portal: you know exactly what your business needs. Probata Academy teaches you to build it yourself with Claude, Lovable and Supabase, then take it live without exposing your clients' data.
01 · The problem
Tools that no longer keep up with your business
In most small businesses, the ideal tool doesn't exist off the shelf, and custom development feels out of proportion for a handful of users. The result:
Spreadsheets that became critical
A shared Excel file serves as the database, with no reliable history and no per-person access rights.
Scattered information
Requests come in by email, by phone and on paper: nobody has the full picture.
Quotes out of proportion
For a tool used by a few people, custom development quickly adds up to months.
Prototypes that raise concerns
Someone on your team already built something with AI, and nobody knows who can see which data.
02 · Examples
What you can build for your business
Realistic business apps within reach of an owner who doesn't code. These examples are illustrative: none of them describes a real client.
Client request tracking
Every request gets a status, an owner and a due date; the client follows progress from their own login.
Document collection portal
Clients upload their documents, see what's missing and get a reminder. That's the idea behind the demo app, Dossiers Clair.
Field service scheduling
Technicians see today's jobs, management sees the week's workload, each according to their role.
Purchase requests and approvals
An employee submits a request, their manager approves it, and accounting finds everything in one place.
Quality and maintenance tracking
Periodic checks, nonconformities and corrective actions, with photos and a dated history.
Bookings with payment
Rooms, equipment or appointments booked online, with Stripe payments and automatic confirmation.
Every example involves distinct roles and data to protect: that's exactly what the method teaches you to handle before the first screen.

Lovable projects out of 1,645 analyzed had inadequate access rules that exposed data.
Matt Palmer, statement on CVE-2025-48757 · May 29, 2025
The real risk isn't the tool
Building an app with Lovable takes an evening. Taking it live without exposing data takes a method. The problem is almost never the tool: it's forgotten settings, especially access rules. The course teaches you to design them, then verify them role by role.

Questions from small business owners
Do you need to know how to code to build an internal tool?
No. The Production Program is designed for non-developers. You learn to describe your need precisely, have Claude and Lovable build the app, then check what the AI produced, screen by screen and role by role. Basic comfort with a computer and a web browser is enough to follow the 47 lessons.
How much time does a business owner need to set aside?
Plan on about 5 hours a week for 6 weeks, roughly 30 hours in total, exercises and project included. Lessons are short and available at any hour, so they fit between meetings. If your calendar overflows, you can slow down without losing anything: access to the program lasts 24 months.
How much do the tools cost during the project?
Plan on about 50 a month in your currency for tools while you build, mainly Claude and Lovable. Subscriptions are in your name and can be canceled. Once the app is live, running costs depend on the number of users and storage: our free budget estimator gives you a ballpark before you start.
Will our clients' data be protected?
It will be if access rules are designed and tested before launch, and that's the heart of the program. You define who sees what in week 2, then test every role in week 6. Your security file is analyzed automatically: access rules, secret keys, private files and backups.
Does the company own the app and its code?
Yes. The app built during the course and its code belong to you. They live in your own Lovable, Supabase and GitHub accounts, so you can evolve them, bring them in-house or hand them to a contractor later. The course gives you a method, not a dependency.
Can the invoice be issued to the business?
Yes. At checkout, indicate that it's a business purchase, enter the company name and, if applicable, your VAT or company ID number: the invoice is issued to the business. For several employees, the Team Program bundles licenses into a single quote, sent by email after your request.
Can an employee take the course instead of the owner?
Yes. Access is personal: the person who will build the tool should take the course. One way to organize it is to scope the need yourself with the Starter Kit, then have an employee enrolled in the Production Program do the building. From 5 people up, the Team Program adds a company dashboard.
